Kiyoko Asao-Ragosta, M.D.
American College of Physicians
Dr. Asao received her M.D. from Brown University
and completed her residency in internal medicine
at Georgetown University Hospital. She has special
interests in sports medicine, cardiology, and
inpatient medicine. She is a diplomate of the
American Board of Internal Medicine. She joined
our practice in 1989, and is fluent in Japanese. |

David L. Chesler, M.D.
American Board of Internal Medicine American Geriatrics Society
Dr. Chesler received his M.D. from Case Western
Reserve University and completed a residency in
internal medicine at the University of Vermont. Dr.
Chesler worked in public health for three years in
Louisa, Virginia, and he continues to see patients in Louisa twice a month. He has been in practice at CFM since 1980. He is Medical Director at Charlottesville Health and Rehab, and is on the Board of Directors of Legacy Hospice. He is a diplomate of the American
Board of Internal Medicine and has board
certification in geriatric medicine. |

Boris Gerber, M.D.
American Board of Internal Medicine
Dr. Gerber received his M.D. from Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany, and completed a residency in internal medicine at Penn State Geisinger Medical Center. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and holds board certification in Family Medicine in Germany. Prior to joining Charlottesville Family Medicine in 2009, Dr. Gerber was in private practice in Germany and he was employed as a Hospitalist with Martha Jefferson Hospital from 2002 through 2006. He is fluent in German. |

Kathryn Jaquette, F.N.P., C.N.M.
Ms. Jaquette holds a nursing degree from Duke
University, a Family Nurse Practitioner certificate
from Cornell University and a Masters degree in
nursing from the University of Virginia, and a Nurse
Midwifery degree from the Frontier Nursing School
in Kentucky. In practice for over 30 years, Ms.
Jaquette has brought special expertise in family and
women's health care, mental health and newborn
care to CFM since 1987. |

Deborah M. Long, F.N.P.
Ms. Long holds both a Bachelors degree in nursing
and a Family Nurse Practitioner certificate from the
Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. She also
holds a B.A. in sociology from Mary Baldwin College.
Having a special interest in women's health
care, Ms. Long joined CFM in 1991. |

Richard Stewart, M.D.
American Board of Internal Medicine American College of Physicians
Dr. Stewart received his medical degree from the University of Virginia and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine in Norfolk, VA. He has a special interest in general internal medicine, preventive medicine and inpatient medicine. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and has practiced medicine in the Central Virginia area since 1991. He has an interest in baseball and continues to play in a local league. Dr. Stewart joined CFM in 2009. |

Jill York, P.N.P., F.N.P.
Ms. York holds a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Certificate from Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia and a Master's Degree in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from Old Dominion University. She has been in practice over 30 years and has a special interest in adolescent and women's health. Ms. York works with all ages to optimize health including adolescent health, women's health, preventive care, and management of chronic health conditions. She joined CFM in June 2011. |

Marisa Christensen, M.D.

American Geriatrics Society
Dr. Christensen received her M.D. degree from the University of Virginia, and completed a residency in family medicine, followed by a fellowship in geriatric medicine at Duke University. Prior to joining CFM in 2013, Dr. Christensen worked with UVA Health System in Waynesboro, VA for 8 years. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine, and has board certification in geriatric medicine. She has a special interest in geriatric medicine, chronic disease management, and preventive care. She enjoys running. |

Leslie Raiford
Born and raised in Virginia, received her Master's in Sience from Hampton University, Bachelors of Science from Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia, and 2 Associates degrees from Norfolk State University and Paul D. Camp Community College. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner with the American Nurse Credentialing Center. She has worked in rural America and with Indian Health and joined CFM in June 2012. She enjoys the outdoors, kayaking, fishing, biking and hiking. |

Marijke Durieux
Ms Durieux holds a Master's degree in nursing from the University of Virginia and is a certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She is also certified in Hospice and Palliative Care. Prior to joining Charlottesville Family Medicine in 2012 Ms. Durieux was a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner at Martha Jefferson Hospital and was also employed by Hospice of the Piedmont. She has a special interest in geriatrics, symptom management, and end of life care. She is fluent in Dutch. |
