Personal Interests

In her free time Dana enjoys being outdoors, travel and watching her two teenagers play sports.

Biography

Dana has over sixteen years in practice as a family nurse practitioner. She has worked at the University of Virginia for seventeen years as both a registered nurse and nurse practitioner and then in private practice for the last seven years. Dana then joined CFM and has enjoyed taking care of patients across the adult life span in wellness care, chronic disease management and urgent care needs. Dana spends one day a week visiting and treating geriatric patients in assisted living facilities located in the Charlottesville area. She enjoys following the patient in their healthcare journey to provide consistent, high quality and supportive care to her patients. Dana has an interest in issues specific to women’s health as well.
